Karan Mehra Interview

Are you aware that there is another Karan Mehra in the industry?
Yes, in fact, our dads were college buddies. I'd like to tell him that if he doesn't know this already.

Your first reaction when you learnt you had landed Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai?
I was nervous.. and excited.

Finally, someone who didn't become an actor by chance!
(Laughs) It's always been my dream to be an actor. Television is the first big step.

Any show you wish you were a part of?
I used to like Mihir Virani in Kyunki Saas Bahu Thi. Amar Upadhyay was
so popular as Mihir. In fact, Naitik, the guy I play in Yeh Rishta..,
is quite similar. He is sweet and pampered.. simple, cute and
responsible. Just like me. It shouldn't be difficult playing him.

Isn't there a wicked streak in you?
No way!

You don't flirt?
No, I've always been a role model for my cousins and peers. (Laughs) My
family and friends would always tell them, "Kuch seekho Karan se!"

The show is about youngsters who get married early. Is it healthy to promote such a trend?
It does happen. Also, we are showing how youngsters can be responsible and cultured. We are encouraging family values.

Married young would also translate into becoming young parents. Are you ready to play papa?
If the story demands it, why not?

Do you believe in matching kundalis to find your life partner?
My parents would be happy if I find a girl myself. As for matching
kundalis, let's face it, we might have become progressive but no one I
know has escaped it. Why take a chance? Har koi karta hai toh main kyun
nahin.

I believe you were an assistant director once..
Yes, I've assisted Ram Gopal Varma on Shiva.. and Rajkumar Hirani for
an advertisement. I've done a few ads too. The latest one was with
Shahid Kapur.

Besides acting what else about the medium interests you?
Styling, I'm a fashion designer from NIFT. I have my own brand. I hope to relaunch it in a couple of years.

You look so young.. how old are you?
Guess? When I was 21, no one would believe it. I was once denied entry
to a movie theatre because they thought I was underage. I'm still told
I look younger than my years.

I learnt acting from my mom: Pooja Joshi

Pooja Joshi, who
plays Varsha in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai learnt how to act from her
mother. Here, the actress, who is originally from Uttaranchal, talks
about her family, her character as well as her dream guy.

Pooja
says, “I played a small role in Prithviraj Chauhan before doing Yeh
Rishta. I always wanted to try acting and that is how I got into this
profession. My mother Geeta Joshi was also an actress. She was part of
NSD and has done plays as well as shows though she no longer does it.
She taught me a lot about acting.”

On her other family members, Pooja says, “Both my parents live in
Delhi. My father is in the Delhi Police. We are four siblings. I have
two sisters and one brother. My younger sister Damini is an actress;
she plays Aayesha in Aladdin. My brother wants to become a singer and
he is trying to get on a reality show. My elder sister is married. All
my siblings are in Mumbai. ”

Talking about her role on Yeh Rishta, Pooja says, “It is a good
opportunity. I got offered the part after auditioning for the role.”
And when asked if she is open to taking up new projects, Pooja says,
“I’m so busy that I hardly get any free time so I can’t accept another
show. Also, I would like to concentrate on this show.”

Pooja’s character recently got married on the serial. In real life, the
actress describes what would constitute husband material for her,
saying, “I want a loving and caring guy. I do not have many
expectations.”

Fans want Ali to stay in Yeh RishtaAli Merchant is on a high ever since he entered Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
as Rituraj. The actor has got an overwhelming response for his
portrayal of the character so much so that the public is now requesting
to make him the lead of the show.

the excited actor, "My cameo in the show has been appreciated by the
viewers and I am receiving an overwhelming response for the same.
Infact, people have been writing to the channel to retain me as the
main lead opposite the actress. I just hope to work with Rajan Sir all
over again."

Rajan Shahi, producer of the show, enunciates, "I knew that the
response to this cameo will be liked by the audience but it has been
extremely overwhelming. Ali is a wonderful actor and has impressed us
all with his talent."

Are there any chances of making Ali the lead of the show? "Ali's cameo
in the show has ended but one can never rule out anything considering
the fact that things keep changing on a show. But I would definitely
wish to work with Ali again in the coming future."

With the way things are moving for Ali he has all the reasons to keep smiling.

Yeh Rishta to introduce male lead next week..

Rajan Shahi's latest offering Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has
been received very well by viewers, and this is evident with the TRPs
which seem to touch a new high with every passing week!! But now comes
a very interesting twist in the tale, as we finally see the
introduction of the male lead and his family sometime next week!!

has already started shooting. "There is huge anticipation in the minds
of viewers who are eager to see the boy's family being introduced in
the show. But unlike Akshara's family which saw a mix of known actors
and fresh faces, Naitik's family will comprise of many newcomers as
well as less known actors", explains our source.

"Sonali Verma who was earlier seen in Ardhangini and Dulhann will play
mother to Naitik, while Sandeep Mehta who was part of Kasturi will play
the boy's dad. Many new comers along with Sanjay Gandhi and Marathi
actress Medha will be seen in the big joint family of the boy", adds
our source.

It is heard that the boy's family has started shooting from today, and
their introduction will be seen in the first week of March.

The channel and the production house have been extremely tight-lipped
of this development, and our persistent attempts to get a confirmation
from Producer Rajan Shahi failed, as he was busy with his shoots.

The buzz also goes that the production house has erected a fabulous set which will be the abode of the boy's family.

So plenty to look forward to in Yeh Rishta in the coming week!!

Akshara finds love in Karan

Rituraj’s exit
from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai should have made Akshara very sad, but
she no longer has to look for love. Her dreamboy Naitik, played by
Karan Mehra, is all set to make his entry on the show

Karan confirmed this news, but would not give us any details. "I can't
tell you when or how my entry will be arranged. You have to follow the
show for that," he said.

The actor had shot for the promos quite a while ago and told us he had
heard good reviews, saying, "People just love the chemistry between
Akshara and Naitik in the promos. I hope they like this chemistry once
I'm actually on the show as well!”

So what has he been doing in the two months since he shot the promos?
To this he replied, “I have been busy with the team, working on my
character from every angle. We’ve done a lot of work on my look. I also
used to go to the sets and interact with my co-stars."

That's all well and good, but we think it must have been difficult to
wait that long. Karan however, disagreed. “I am a very patient guy that
way. I understand that things got delayed because of the strike and
then recession. Now, we're finally shooting," he explained.

The shoot began a couple of days ago and Karan has been having a good
time. “As I had already shot for the promos with the actors on the
show, we share a good rapport. I think I am most comfortable with
Akshara [Hina Khan]. It has become like a small family,” the actor
adds. Karan's entry is scheduled for next week.

Family values relate me to Akshara, says Hina

Hina Khan is the latest entrant to the glam world of television.

She has definitely succeeded in wooing the audiences with her character
Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai . It is a tale about finding love
after marriage and how two people bond after tying the knot.

Hina belongs to Srinagar, but has done her schooling and college from
Delhi. She confessed that she always had this desire to act but never
thought that she would get the chance to realise her dream.

Hina reveals, "My friends from Delhi University told me about the
auditions being conducted by director Rajan Shahi's production house,
so I thought of giving it a shot. Next morning, I got a call from the
production house saying I had been selected."

As she comes from a non-acting background, facing the camera was not an easy task for her.

"I was very nervous on the first day of the shoot as there are so many
things that you have to keep in mind. I rehearse my script with my
co-actors and take their tips quite seriously. I am making all possible
efforts to get into the skin of Akshara's character. Moreover, I
believe if you try to do something with complete dedication and honesty
nothing is impossible," she says.

Hina relates to her character Akshara to a great extent. Just like her
character, she too gets a lot of love, support and pampering from her
family.

She adds, "Family values are something that brings us together. I also
dress simply like her, never plan things for myself, by God's grace
life treats me well. Just like Akshara, I can do anything for my
family."

Completely ruling out the option of a love mate, Hina said, "Though I
am not against a love marriage, if my parents chose a guy for me, I
will go for it."

With so many shows running on television at the moment, Hina still
thinks Yeh Rishta...will make its way to the top because of the
freshness of its content.

Lately, Hina was shuttling a lot between Delhi and Mumbai, but why? "I
am a student of a business school in Delhi, and went back for my final
semester exams. I used to bring my books to the shoot and used to study
in-between the shots."

Ask her about her newly attained celebrity status and she bursts into
laughter. "Since the day one of shooting, I haven't got anytime to
react. I have seen very few episodes of my own show. When I went to
Delhi lately, my family, friends everybody gave me such a special
treatment, as if I am some queen. So many people recognize you, want to
know about you, it feels nice," says she.

If you talk about the small screen, Hina is a huge fan of Smriti Irani.
"Smriti plays all her characters positively and with so much of
dignity. I got a chance to meet her at the airport lately and was
really thrilled."

There
are many instances where people have been refused a role because their
physique was not up to the mark. But Ather Habib, better known as
Shourya in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai lost out on a plum role because his physique was too good for it. “Yes, this is true,” says Habib.

what happened and why was he denied a role for his good physique?
“Actually, as you all know I was playing the role of a wrestler in Chalti Ka Naam Gadi.
For that role I had to build my physique and constantly maintain it. So
when I walked in to Rajan Shahi’s office for an audition he immediately
noticed me and asked me a few questions. After a short discussion, he
wanted me to audition for Naitik’s role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.”

Naitik being one of the lead roles in
the serial, Habib was very happy and went for the look test after a few
days. “I was aware that such a good physique was not required for role
and thus reduced a bit before going for the audition. Despite that I
failed the look test for Naitik and was selected for Shourya’s role,”
remembers Habib.

However, the guy from Ludhiana who
comes from a family of doctors (both his father and brother are in the
medical profession) does not have any regrets whatsoever. “I am very
happy with the way my character has shaped up. Rajan Shahi is a master
in casting and if he thought me to be suitable for this and not
something else, I am sure he has his reasons. I am confident that there
is a lot more in store for me in the serial,” says the young guy who
was encouraged by his family to become an actor. “My father is a very
passionate poet and he was very happy once I got a toehold in this
industry.”

Kehlata Hai team celebrated Holi in a big way and Hina Khan, who plays
Akshara on the show, gave us the details of the elaborate Holi sequence
that was shot, as well as a little confession about her longing for an
onscreen beau to share the festivities with.

says, “We celebrated Holi on the sets. The entire family will be there
in this sequence and all the family members will have separate stories.
For example, Varsha and Akshara’s brother’s romantic track will be
shown. I do not have a partner on the show so I will be enjoying Holi
with my family. But I hope that next time I have a partner to celebrate
Holi with.”

The
actress’ costars took the shoot as an opportunity to ruin Hina’s hair.
She complains, “The rest of the cast applied oil on their hair but I
did not because it does not look good in the frame. That’s why everyone
applied colour on my hair! And even after dousing it with conditioner,
it hasn’t become soft as yet! Hopefully, it will be back to normal
soon.”

Hina, who is originally from Srinagar but lived in Delhi, has been
playing Holi for years. She says, “All my friends are Hindu and I just
love to put colours on everyone. I have attended all of the pujas, hawans
and celebrated all the festivals with them. Though the best Holi I
celebrated was when I was in Kathmandu. It was so much fun over there.”
The actress also admits that she has tasted bhang once but says that
“it did not taste good”.

the actually date of Holi, March 11, Hina says that the cast and crew
will have to celebrate it again on the sets as their chances of a day
off is negligible.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s Holi sequence will be aired on Thursday
and Friday. Producer Rajan Shah’s daughter Ishika will be making an
appearance in the episode.

The festival of Holi is bringing happiness on the sets of Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as they celebrate it with full masti and excitement.

about the Holi shoot, and she in her very pleasing tone says, "It was
very nice and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love this festival a lot,
especially when we color each other".
Elaborating on the sequence she explains, "I was not there in each and
every sequence as they also focused on the various jodis of the family,
and I am still single in the show (smiles). But in total, it was great
fun and I can say that I enjoyed the festival with my on screen family
to the core," she adds further.
In the episode, one can see love blooming between Varsha and Shaurya as
they dance and portray their feelings. Whereas Akshara is in deep
thoughts wondering who her Mr. Right will be.
The Holi sequence also had Producer Rajan Shahi's daughter, Ishika Rajan too partake in the masti and play with colors. When asked Rajan Shahi
about the Holi experience with his daughter on sets, he quips, "I
usually do not take her to the sets. But Ishika loves the festival of
Holi and wanted to play with the star cast, especially Hina Khan who
she is very fond of now. She enjoyed to the core".

On the track, he said "The festival of Holi brings back happiness in
Akshara's face. Thro' the festival of Holi, the whole family try to
forget the bitter past of Rituraj refusing to marry Akshara, and decide
to move on in an optimistic way".

The main lead Naitik played by Karan Mehra will soon enter the life of Akshara to give her all the happiness she is wanting for. His entry will be aired this Friday.

"Well I have assisted Ram Gopal Verma, but it was long back. For the
past two years, I have been into modeling and have now have grabbed the
golden opportunity of being in this show", says Karan.

What made you choose acting? "It was always there on my mind, but
before jumping in this pool I wanted to get some knowledge of what
happens behind the camera. Today that is helping me a lot in Yeh
Rishta", quips the actor.

Talking about his character Naitik, he says, "Naitik is basically a
woman's man and is the pampered guy of his house. He has developed an
ego as he gets lots of attention from his mother and sisters in the
house. You can say, he is a bit spoilt that way, but at the same time
he is aware of his responsibilities towards his family too. His head is
always on his shoulders. He is a very sweet character and I hope people
like it".

What picture does Naitik have in mind when he comes with the proposal
for Akshara? "Like any other guy, Naitik also thinks that his wife
should be beautiful and should be rich in traditions and values as
well. A homely girl who takes care of him and his family, is what
Naitik wishes for", quips Karan.

Naitik aka Karan Mehra, the new lad on small screen is making waves with his stint in Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, produced by Rajan Shahi's Directors Kut. The handsome lad from Delhi is not new to the industry though, and has the experience of working behind the camera.

have assisted few producers behind the camera. Then I have also worked
as an assistant stylist for a production house, but then shifted my
base to ramp modeling. Now I have grabbed this role in the show," says
Karan.

Karan has done ads for 7Up, Hotspot Mobile store, HT etc. "I always
wanted to be seen on camera, but before that my aim was to get an
understanding of how things roll behind it. Today because of that I am
very much comfortable in front of the screen," he adds.

"As an artist you may come, say your line and go away, but the work
behind the camera is not at all easy. I don't say that it's easier as
an actor, but just want to emphasize that things are very difficult
behind the scene. The work done by all, from the technicians, to the
camera man, to directors and spot boys are amazing. Today this
knowledge has given me much confidence and encouragement," he quips.

He has done his acting course from Kishore Namit Kapoor Institute. "It
was a four months course and it has helped me open my eyes to a wider
range of observation. Though I felt the heat while facing the camera,
my previous experience helped me a lot", says the actor.

Talking about his experience while auditioning for Yeh Rishta… the
actor explains, "There were so many young guys who came to audition for
this particular role of Naitik, but I was the lucky one as I got a call
on the second day from Rajanji's office. When I went there, they
explained me in details the character of Naitik and it charmed me a
lot", explains Karan.

"We even got through the look test and things were finalized soon. The
role also appealed to me and it felt great to be working with such a
good production house. This is how I landed on the sets of Yeh Rishta
Kya Kehlata Hai. I am all content and happy with this show in my
kitty," he states.

Elaborating on his character, Karan verbalizes, "Naitik is a quite a
women's man who is pampered by everyone in the house, from mother to
sister and everybody. Due to this he is little spoilt but at the same
time he is aware of his responsibilities and duties towards the family.
His head is always on his shoulders and it's quite a sweet character."

Well this is a subject that highlights about arranged marriages. So how
much does Karan believe in this institution? "Of course, I do believe
in arranged marriage. My parents had an arranged marriage, and today
also you can see this trend continuing. Even I don't mind opting for
the same," he concludes.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tops TRP charts.....

Rajan Shahi's recently launched show on
STar Plus topped the TRP charts to become the #1 show across all
channels with an average TRP of 6.4...

Rajan Shahi's recently launched show on Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya
Kehlata Hai topped the TRP charts across channels last week to gain the
#1 show status with an average TRP of 6.4. Closely behind Yeh Rishta is
Directors' Kut's first successful venture on the channel Sapna Babul
Ka.. Bidaai, with an average TRP of 6.3. The third spot was occupied by
COLORS' Balika Vadhu which had an average of 5.9

The unit of Yeh Rishta is brimming with confidence and an eagerness to
work harder, and with the male lead and his family being accepted well
by the audience, there is much more in store for viewers. Says Rajan
Shahi, "The presentation and characterization of all the characters in
Yeh Rishta has been very unique and that has made an impact on the
numbers. This is just the starting point as we will now dwell into the
emotional journey of the couple and that is going to be a great phase".

So how does the unit of Bidaai feel, now that there is tough
competition from Yeh Rishta too? "Well, I will want to replace the word
'Competition' with 'Togetherness'. Both the teams are together and
stand united on the same platform. The feeling between the two teams is
like, 'We have been #1 till now, today you are the #1, tomorrow will
again be our chance to top'", quips the Producer.

A path breaker in terms of topping the charts, Directors' Kut is the
only production house apart from Ekta's very successful Balaji
Telefilms that has delivered two successful shows which have taken the
top two positions on a particular General Entertainment Channel.

With this, Star Plus stands tall as the #1 Channel with 322 GRPs
followed by Set Max which takes the second spot with 301 GRPs, while
COLORS is the third with 250 GRPs. Star Plus has 72 GRP lead from last
week giving it a distinct 29% leadership.

Ask Rajan Shahi about the journey ahead, and he quips, "This news will
surely motivate the Yeh Rishta team, but this also means that our
responsibilities are doubled when it comes to sustaining this success.
With all humility and God's Grace, I assure the loyal viewers of Yeh
Rishta as well as Bidaai that they will see many more highs coming, as
far as the story lines are concerned.

The gap widens: Star retains its top positionStar
Plus has just re-affirmed its strong foothold in the GEC sector with
the latest TAM ratings. Pushing down all the competition, Star Plus
remains the numero uno GEC with a GRP of 322. Last heard Colors was
breathing down Star’s neck when Balika Vadhu
became the number one show in the beginning of March. But after Star’s
overwhelming success the gap has widened and Colors has now gone to the
number three position with a GRP of 250 with Set Max in second position
with a GRP of 301.

But no-one is complaining as both the shows come from the Rajan Shahi
stable. And the bull run continues for Star as its recently launched
show Sabki Laadli Bebo by Endemol too has been received well with an initial TRP of 4.9 which makes it the number four show across all channels.

Yeh Rishta… has garnered a TRP of 6.4 and Bidaai occupied the number two slot by registering a TRP of 6.3. With this latest development Balika Vadhu which for the last couple of weeks was enjoying the top slot is now at number three with a TRP of 5.9.

Producer Rajan Shahi, Director’s Kut, says, “It feels great to know
that both my shows are now placed in the top two positions. I just hope
that Bidaai gets back to its number one position along with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. It feels proud to know that Yeh Rishta…

It's celebration time for Rajan Shahi and Star Plus as two of their top ranked shows Sapna Babul Ka..Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai share a unique coincidence as they reach an important milestone tonight, on March 20th. Tonight's episode will be the 300th episode for Bidaai while Yeh Rishta completes 50 successful episodes today.

who celebrated her birthday yesterday says, "I am so happy to see that
Bidaai has reached this position. There has been unity and strength in

Rishta as reported by Telly Buzz earlier, has become the #1 show across
all channels now. We talk to the leading lady of the show Akshara aka Hina Khan
who could not hide her happiness and said, "I am on top of the world.
In such a short span of time, we have got so much of success and fame.
It's so nice to see that our hard work is being praised by our
audiences".

"From the day one of the shoot, Udaipur to Mumbai, we have really
worked hard and we promise to deliver our best in future too. I am
thankful to my fans and would like to tell them to remain glued to the
show as there is lot more in store", she concludes.

Finally, we talked to Rajan Shahi of Directors' Kut who is
happy to reach the double milestone on the same day. "It's been a great
journey and I profusely thank the viewers who have stuck to watching
our shows at the prime time band between 9PM to 10PM. One interesting
fact is that, when Bidaai reached its 50th episode, we had got to the
#1 spot and we had a very big high point running then, wherein Ragini's
marriage gets broken. History has repeated itself as Yeh Rishta has
managed to grab the #1 position just before its 50th episode. It feels
nice when you have reached two milestones on the same day. To tell you
more, tonight's episode in both the shows are my personal favorites.
The episodes have come out very well. And as I have said before, this
is just the beginning and we aim to go miles ahead".

Will Akshara continue studies after marriage?

We recently went
to the sets of the top ranked show across channels, Star Plus' Yeh
Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, produced by Rajan Shahi's Directors Kut to meet
the family of Naitik (Karan Mehra) where we had a chat with the boy's
Daddaji and Badi Maa.

We questioned the elder most couple of the Singhania family over their
would-be daughter-in-law Akshara's (Hina Khan) eagerness to study
further, and Daddaji quipped "Well, after becoming the bahu of the
Singhania family, why does Akshara need to go to college or work
anywhere?". Badi Maa seemed to echo the same sentiment and said, "We
have earned so much that there is no need for our bahu to study further
and work later".

So does this mean there will be a clash of ideologies as soon as
Akshara steps into the house as their daughter-in-law? "Akshara will be
given equal importance in the house and will be treated as the daughter
of the house. If she wants to continue with her studies, we won't come
in the way. We are not forcing our decision on her, but we will just
convey our mindset clearly. It will now be up to her; if she wants to
continue her studies she can very well do so. At the end of the day, we
cannot hurt her as she is the beti of the house", explain the couple.

"All we wish is a very happy life for both our Naitik and Akshara in future", conclude both with a smile on their faces.

Bidaai and Yeh Rishta share top honors...

For the first time in the history of television, Star Plus' Bidaai and
Yeh Rishta share the #1 position. Also, the newly launched shows of
Star have been able to entertain viewers with involving content..

Star Plus' Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the two very successful shows coming from Rajan Shahi's Directors Kut have created history by sharing the #1 position across all channels with an average TVR of 7.2 each.

He goes on to add, "Not only are Bidaai and Yeh Rishta #1 this week,

words, it means the top ten shows of television this week are between
these two shows".

With this, Star Plus with a 311 GRP holds a distinct 19% leadership over COLORS which is slotted at number 2 position with 262 GRP.

The #1 channel, Star Plus is reaping rewards with its new
launches too, as Sabki Laadli Bebo, the Endemol Production is a
distinct leader in its slot with a TVR of 4.6, thus defeating Uttaran,
Betiyaan and Dance India Dance.

Off Productions' Burey Bhi Hum Baley Bhi Hum has launched with an
average of 1.4 TVR while Chehra is going steady with 1.5 TVR. It's
weekend fantasy show Shaurya Aur Suhani, produced by Sphere Origin
launched with a TVR of 1.3.

And as Keertan Adhyantaya, GM and EVP, Star Plus sums it
up, "What gives us immense joy is the fact that we now have a basket of
highly differentiated shows. In addition to shows like Bidaai, Yeh
Rishta, Kis Des & Raja, we now have shows like Laadli, Bhale Bhi
Hum, Shaurya & Chehra. Each of these shows is highly differentiated
from each other and from shows on other channels".

Talking about the highly-ranked and newly launched shows, Keertan
states, "Bidaai is building up to another peak with story leading
towards Alekh's past. Yeh Rishta is entering a very tender phase with

Karan tells us, "I went shopping for veggies a few days back. When I was emptying the tomatoes in the vegetable compartment of the fridge, I noticed that one tomato was in a very different shape. When I looked closer I found that the tomato actually had the trunk of Ganpati! And guess what after sometime, an eye also appeared!"

It all seems to be a celestial coincidence, for Karan. He says, "I never go out to shop as I hardly get the time. That day just by chance I went to get vegetables. And this is what happens! I'm really excited and happy about this event. I'm not looking forward to any sudden spurt of wealth or good fortune but am just content that God chose me to experience this serendipity."

Right now Ganpati Bappa is enjoying the attention of many visitors at the actor's place. Karan says, "The tomato is now kept in my mandir with the other Gods for everyone to take darshan."

On a different note Karan lets us know what to expect from Naitik and Akshara's lives. He says, "It's the season of naughtiness and romance. So watch out for loads of that!"
