EP # 247 Tx Date 1st Jan 09

Malti comes to rescue and tries to divert their attention by shouting out loud that Vinu has fallen. Vinu enters the hall in pain and limping. Mami asks Malti to apply ointment on Vinu’s back. Malti says that she doesn’t have one. Mami says that she will get it from Ragini’s room. On Mami again knocking on the door, Ragini asks Ranveer to leave. Ranveer leaves finally. Mami takes the ointment and misses seeing Ranveer hanging from the balcony. Sadhna informs Ranveer that Vineet had actually fallen down. While coming back home they are caught by Vasu. Sadhna takes Vasu’s permission to go to Kaushalya Niwas in order to help Mama and Mami to shop for Ragini’s wedding. Ranveer wants to tag along but Sadhna refuses. Sadhna reaches Kaushalya Niwas and finds Ragini talking over phone with Ranveer. Sadhna takes the phone from Ragini and tells Ranveer not to disturb. Sadhna even refuses to tell him about the place they will be shopping at. Ranveer decides that he will find out, no matter what. Mama and family leave for shopping. Ranveer finds out from Malti the name of the place where the Sharma’s had come for shopping. Both Ranveer and Alekh reach the mall. As Ragini selects clothes with Sadhna, she is taken aback to see Ranveer there with Alekh. Ranveer helps make Ragini a choice. Ragini seeing the price tag on the dress selected by Ranveer leaves the dress as it is highly priced. Ragini goes to the trial room, Ranveer follows her. Sadhna catches hold of Ranveer and asks him to leave.

EP # 252 Tx Date 12th Jan 09

Sharma’s come back home after the picnic. Malti realizes that hardly anytime is left for the preparation of haldi. Vasu gifts a kurta payjama to Alekh for the haldi ceremony, but Alekh insists on wearing a dhoti kurta like Ranveer. As Vasu turns to leave saying that she will get a dhoti kurta for him, Alekh takes the kurta payjama saying that he will manage with it. Ranveer’s haldi ceremony starts in the Rajvansh House. Vasu’s close friend Sheetal arrives to attend the ceremony.

EP # 253 Tx Date 13th Jan 09

Vasu’s friend is excited to see Ragini and says that she is sure that Vasu’s to be daughter-in-law is a very pretty girl. Vasu gets alarmed hearing this. As Avni goes to put haldi on Ranveer, Ambika stops her saying that Sadhna should perform the ritual first as she is the elder daughter-in-law. Vasu wants to tell Sheetal all about Ragini, but before that she gets called for putting haldi on Ranveer. Vasu and her friends leave for Kaushalya Niwas for haldi ceremony. On reaching Kaushalya Niwas, Vasu and her friends are welcomed by Kaushlaya and others. Sadhna and Malti bring Ragini for the ceremony. Sheetal is taken aback to see Ragini. She happens to make a comment on Ragini which gets overheard by all. Everybody is shocked to hear what Sheetal had said. Vasu is also completely taken aback Sheetal tries to explain to Vasu that she said it out of concern and didn’t mean to hurt anyone.

EP # 254 Tx Date 14th Jan 09

Vasu asks Sheetal to apologies to Sharma’s but Sheetal gets angry and refuses and goes on rebuking Ragini and Sharma’s. Ranveer walks in and asks Sheetal to stop. Everybody is shocked to see Ranveer and Alekh. Ranveer very clearly tells Sheetal that he is proud of Ragini. For him Ragini’s heart matters most than her outer beauty. Sheetal walks out of the party and Vasu doesn’t stop her. Vasu apologizes to Kaushalya. Ragini goes to Mami and asks her to resume the ceremony of Haldi. Mama says thanks to Ranveer for supporting his daughter

EP # 255 Tx Date 15th Jan 09

While leaving from Kaushalya Niwas, Ambika reassures Mami that Ragini will be very well taken care of by everyone at Rajvansh House. After the ceremony Mami comes to Ragini and tells Ragini not to get affected with whatever took place during the ceremony. Ragini observes her mother’s concern and tells her she seems to be more hurt and affected with Sheetal’s remarks. Ragini tells Kaushlaya that with Ranveer’s strong love supporting her she can never get affected by what people think. Sadhna thanks Ranveer for supporting Ragini in front of him. Ranveer says that he did just what he was supposed to do. Next Day Vasu calls up her friends and invites them for the wedding but everyone refuses citing previous day’s instance. Vasu gets angry getting a refusal from all her friends.

EP # 261 Tx Date 26th Jan 09

Sadhna stands shocked as Mami tells her that she was there the time Satyendra was confronting Vasu in front of Ambika. Sadhna tells Mami that her intention was not to lie to her, she lied only because she didn’t want any misunderstanding between the two families. Mami doesn’t believe Sadhna and tells her that she never wanted Ragini to be married in that house only because of Sadhna. Sadhna stands shocked hearing. Mami again accuses Sadhna of manipulating Ragini and Ranveer’s alliance as her intention is to play Vasu to Ragini. Mami also tells Sadhna that her beauty was the primary reason why she never wanted Ragini married at Rajvansh House. Mama overhears the entire conversation and ask Mami to stop hurling accusations at Sadhna as Sadhna is the one who has suffered the most and has paid a price for being beautiful. Alekh also happens to walk in as Mama stands talking to Mami and is taken aback to see the heated argument taking place there. Alekh stands confused as Mama try to explain to Alekh that Sadhna is a very nice human being. As Rajvansh family takes leave from Sharma’s, as Ambika bids bye to Kaushalya, Kaushalya tells Ambika that she is aware of the relationship between Vasu and her. Ambika is taken aback to hear this.

Vasu asks Ambika that she saw Kaushalya talking to her and wondered if everything is alright. Ambika tells Vasu that Kaushlaya is aware of the relationship between them. Vasu is also taken aback to hear it. Alekh gets upset on seeing Sadhna still upset with whatever Mami said to her. Ragini calls up Sadhna and asks her if she will come tomorrow to get her ready for the wedding. Sadhna agrees but Alekh tells Sadhna that he will not let her go. Sadhana is stunned as Alekh tells her that she will not go to mama’s place. Sadhna tells Alekh that Mami is like her own mother. Mami tells mama that she knows that he is angry with her. Mama tells Mami that the damage is done and now nothing can be done to rectify it.

EP # 263 Tx Date 28th Jan

Ragini sits nostalgic looking at the pictures as Malti does trousseau packing for her. Mama sees Ragini sleeping and smiling in her sleep and gives her blessing. Ambika confronts Sadhna and asks her that why she told her Mami about the relationship shared by her and Vasu. Sadhna tells Ambika that she never told anything to Mami rather she happened to hear it by chance. Gauri pooja ceremony takes place, Mami prays for Ragini’s well being. Sadhna takes permission from Vasu to go to Mama’s house in order to get Ragini ready. Vasu gives her permission but asks Sadhna to come back on time. Ragini,As everyone blesses Ragini with gifts, Mama gives Ragini a diary with Mama’s memoirs related with Ragini penned in it. Satyendra asks Ambika to forgive the past and to become a part of the happiness brought by Ranveer’s wedding. Vasu also agrees for it as Indrajeet talks to her.

Malti and Mami appreciate the wedding dress sent by Rajvansh’s. Ragini notices that Mami is tensed.On questioning Kaushlaya, she gets to know about Vasu’s and Ambika’s relationship. Ragini assures Mami that nothing of this sort will ever become a problem between her and Sadhna. Sadhna who happens to overhear also assures Mami of the same. Sadhna helps Ragini in getting dressed. As Sadhna leaves for home, Ragini asks her to send Mama to her room. Sadhna finds Mama sitting alone holding a doll. Mama asks Sadhna to take care of Ragini forever and apologizes on behalf of Mami.

EP # 265 Tx Date 30th Jan 09

Ragini comes dressed up as a bride and seeing this mama, mami and Nani gives her a blessing to stay happy forever. Vasu does tilak and aarti of Ranveer and Ranveer climbs the ghodi. The baraat starts for the wedding venue. Naveen asks Avni to maintain her façade of goodness. Baraat reaches the wedding venue. Sharma’s welcome the Rajvansh’s. Malti is happy to see that Avni is not looking better then her. As all of them enter the venue, Ranveer is made to sit on a sofa, as soon as he sits, a funny sound comes out. Everyone realizes that Malti has played a prank by putting papad on Ranveer’s seat. Malti and Sadhna bring Ragini out. One of the guests of Rajvansh’s comment on Ragini’s complexion which gets heard by Vasu. Jai Mala ceremony takes place.

The kanyadaan takes place. Ranveer puts mangal sutra around Ragini’s neck and the rest of the ceremony follows. As Ranveer and Ragini stand as a married couple, Ranveer realizes that his footwear is missing. Malti demands money for returning back his footwear.

As Mama says thanks to all the Rajvansh family members, Inderjeet says that they should now proceed for Bidaai. Ragini comes back to Kaushalya Niwas and does the parting rituals getting nostalgic. A teary eyed Mama, Mami give an emotional Bidaai to Ragini. Ranveer also promises to take care of Ragini.

EP # 268 Tx Date 4th Feb

Mama requests Vasu and Inderjeet to take care of Ragini. Ragini steps into Rajvansh House. After the rituals as she touches the feet of all elders, Alekh naughtily asks Ragini to touch his feet also. Avni also adds to it and says to Ragini that she ought to touch Sadhna and Alekh’s feet. As Ragini moves forward to touch Sadhna’s feet, Sadhna tells her that she is her sister first and she hugs Ragini. Mama and Mami miss Ragini’s presence in the house. As Vinu urges them to eat Mama says that all of a sudden they have become very lonely.

Mama tells Vinu that now they wish to become grandparents. Everyone prepares for Ragini’s mooh dikhai. Sadhna packs Ragini’s gift. Avni requests Ragini not keep anything in her heart for her and Naveen and asks. Mama-Mami miss Ragini and recollect her memories in every corner of the house. Ragini also misses mama mami. Vinu requests mama-mami to eat some food. Gunni and pratham show Ranvir the gift they have got for Ragini and seek Ravi’s help to give it to Ragini.

Ragini’s munh dikhaai takes place. All the family members bless Ragini and also give her gifts. Alekh out of curiosity asks about munh dikhaai ceremony and wonders why Sadhna’s munh dikhaai ceremony never took place. Alekh becomes adamant and says that Sadhan’s munh dikhaai ceremony should also take place and he proceeds to call everyone. Sadhna is stunned to see this. Alekh calls everyone in the hall for Sadhna’s munh dikhaai ceremony. Everybody is shocked to know Alekh’s sudden demand. Ranveer says that they should do Sadhna’s munh dikhaai ceremony. Sadhna’s munh dikhaai takes place. Everyone gifts something or the other. Ragini gifts Sadhna a doll.

EP # 276 Tx Date 16th Feb

Malti complains to Ragini about getting Naveen an apology and making him join office again. Ragini tells Malti she did this as a duty towards that house. Naveen praises Avni and tells her that Sharma’s should know the real reason of the reception getting cancelled. Ranveer and Alekh reach Kaushlya Niwas before time to take Ragini and Sadhna home. Everybody is surprised to see them come so early. Malti tells Ranveer that she is scared that Vinu will get insulted again if joins back office. Ranveer assures Malti that nothing of that sort will happen again. As Ambika and Satyendra sit discussing the arrangement for the reception, Vasu enters talking over the phone telling someone that they have cancelled the reception on Ranveer’s insistence. Satyendra and Ambika are shocked to hear this. Vasu tells Satyendra and Ambika that she lied about the reception getting called off on Ranveer’s insistence as she doesn’t want people to comment on Ragini again.

EP # 277 Tx Date 17th Feb

Indrejeet says to Satyendra that he will make sure that this reception takes place anyhow. Ambika tells Inderjeet that its better if the reception doesn’t take place as it will save not only Ranveer and Ragini from getting hurt but would also help in avoiding any kind of tension in the house. Ranveer says sorry to Ragini for coming so early. Mama gets a Valentine’s Day card for Mami, she gets overwhelmed looking at it. Malti sees all this. After dropping Sadhna and Alekh home, Ranveer takes Ragini for a surprise. Ranveer surpises Ragini with his arrangement for the Valentine’s Day. Alekh asks Sadhna the importance of Valentine’s Day. Sadhna tells Alekh that on this day one expresses his love for his friend. Ranveer showers Ragini with gifts saying that he got all the gifts for all the years when they were not together. Sadhna sits in her room thinking when she realizes that Alekh is not there in the room. Just then Alekh comes back and surprises Sadhna with flowers he plucked from garden. Malti is upset with Vinu for not getting her anything for the Valentine’s Day. Vinu takes out a chain that he got as a gift for Malti and tells her that he sold off his own chain to get Malti this gift.

EP # 278 Tx Date 18th Feb

As Ranveer and Ragini come back home they find Alekh sleeping on their bed. Sadhna tells them that Alekh wanted to meet them and slept off while waiting for them. Ragini says that she will sleep with Sadhna. Next morning Vasu tells Ranveer that an urgent work has come up and she doesn’t know what to do with the reception being next day. Ranveer tells Vasu to go ahead with her work and to call off the reception as her work is more important than the reception. Vasu says thanks to Ranveer for understanding her and says sorry to Ragini for canceling the reception at the last moment. Ranveer says to Vasu that all the people including the Sharma’s would be very disappointed on knowing about the cancellation. Vasu tells Ranveer that she will make everyone understand. Indrajeet unable to stand Vasu’s lie leaves the room. Malti stands wondering whether to break the news of the reception getting cancelled or not. Just the tailor comes with a saree ordered by Malti for the reception. Malti refuses to take it saying that she is not satisfied with the work done. Mami and Nani find Malti arguing with the tailor. Malti leaves angrily that she will not take this saree as she doesn’t like it. Vasu gifts Ranveer and Ragini a honeymoon package to Kerala. Indrajeet rebukes Vasu for manipulating her own children. Also he refuses to accompany Vasu to Kaushalya Niwas to inform Sharma’s about the cancellation of reception.

EP # 279 Tx Date 19th Feb

Vineet stands ready to leave for office as Malti still wonders whether to break the news or not. As Malti is about to tell the family, Vasu arrives and tells the Sharma that due to some urgent work the reception has got cancelled and she also tells them that she has gifted a honeymoon package to Ranveer and Ragini. In office Vineet gets to know that he’s been promoted and would from now on share Naveen’s cabin. Sadhna helps Ragini pack for her honeymoon. Mami tells Mama that there is something odd about the reception getting cancelled at the last moment. Mama convinces Mami that there is nothing of that sort. Vasu tells Indrajeet about her visit to Sharma’s. Indrajeet once again rebukes Vasu for being the manipulator. Sadhna overhears their conversation and is shocked to know the truth. Sadhna stands shocked listening to Vasu and Indrajeet’s conversation, then she silently moves off to her room.

EP # 280 Tx Date 20th Feb

Sadhna confides in Ambika who tells her that she already knew the real reason for the cancellation of the reception but she would prefer if this reception doesn’t take place as it would help avoiding the tension in the house. Avni tries to tell Ragini the real reason of the reception getting cancelled but just then Sadhna reaches there and Avni is unable to succeed in her purpose. Vinu comes back home and tells Malti about his promotion. Malti who wanted to pour out her confusion to Vinu, gets happy on hearing the news and concludes that Avni was lying to her to create trouble. Avni gets upset on knowing that Vineet has been promoted. Guni sneaks out of the room and goes to Ranveer and Ragini to sleep the night there. Alekh asks Sadhna what is honeymoon, Sadhna explains to him subtly. Next morning, Sadhna gets confused looking at Alekh packing there clothes. On being asked he tells Sadhna that they also going for there honeymoon. Alekh announces the same to the entire family. Vasu gets stunned hearing this and does not want him to go. Alekh gets stubborn and insists on going. Ranveer and Ragini support Alekh and tell family that he wants Sadhna and Alekh to accompany him and Ragini. Vasu and Sadhna get tensed hearing this.

EP # 281 Tx Date 23rd Feb

After much coaxing and convincing, Vasu agrees to send Alekh to Kerala with Ranveer and Ragini. Vasu tells Alekh to take care of himself. Mama, Mami, Nani and Malti reach airport to see Ranveer and Ragini off. There they get to know that Alekh and Sadhna would also be accompanying Ranveer and Ragini to Kerala. Mami doesn’t like this though Mama is happy to hear the news. In office Naveen offers being friends with Vineet, Vineet accepts the friendship. As everyone waits at the airport for boarding to take place, Mama notices Sadhna looking sad. Sadhna remembers how her father died. Mama consoles Sadhna. Announcement for boarding takes place. Sadhna, Alekh, Ranveer and Ragini bid bye to everyone. All four reach Kerala. They get a traditional welcome at the hotel. Alekh asks Sadhna if she is happy. Sadhna smiles and says yes. Alekh is thrilled seeing their cottage. Vinu tells Malti about accepting Naveen’s friendship as Malti day dreams about flying in a plane and going to some place like Kerala.
